William G. McKelvey, Chairman of the Board
Following graduation from Marietta College, William G. McKelvey was employed by Connecticut General Life Insurance Company of Hartford, Connecticut, from 1965 through 1969 in their Home Office Group Claims and Pension Department as a sales agent. He left Connecticut General in 1969 to join State Mutual Life Assurance Company of Worcester, Massachusetts, as a group sales representative in their Boston office. He was later promoted to group sales supervisor and ranked in the top 10 percent of the company's group sales force.
Mr. McKelvey left State Mutual in August 1975 to establish MCS. MCS has now become one of the most respected boutique benefit solutions companies in the U.S..
The A.M. Franklin Insurance Agency, Inc. (AMF), established by Mr. McKelvey as a sister company to MCS in 1978, provides stop loss insurance and brokerage services to companies throughout the U.S. AMF provides stop loss over various Blue Cross Blue Shield organization as well as other insurers ASO and TPA sponsored group health plans.
David T. Przesiek, President
A proven health management professional, David Przesiek has more than eight years of experience in the health benefits administration marketplace. Prior to his position with MCS, Mr. Przesiek was Regional Vice President for Benesight Corporation, a third party benefit administrator for self-funded employers. He managed the Northeastern U.S. territory. Prior to his tenure with Benesight, Mr. Przesiek also held executive positions with North American Health Plans and North American Administrators.
Mr. Przesiek is a member of numerous professional and civic organizations including the Self-Insurance Institute of America, the Vermont Employers Health Alliance, the Town of Manchester Board of Health and the New England Employee Benefits Council.
A resident of Manchester, Massachusetts, Mr. Przesiek earned a BA from Saint Bonaventure University and an MBA, with a concentration in health care management, from Canisius College.
Antonio T. Lim, Senior Vice President
Mr. Lim is responsible for the overall management and planning for Eastern Benefit Systems, Inc., one of the oldest Third Party Claims Administrator in New Jersey. He personally designed the logic of CLAIM/NET which is used by EBS for claims administration. In 1979, he established Eastern Benefit Systems, Inc. Mr. Lim directed the operations of EBS through its initial period of growth and development to its highly regarded position today. As President of Eastern Benefit Software, Inc., Mr. Lim is responsible for the continuing state-of-the-art development of CLAIM/NET, as well as the sales and installation of the product.
Mr. Lim was on the Board of Directors of the Society of Professional Benefit Administrators (SPBA) from 1999 to 2003. He was elected Chairman of SPBA for 2004. For several years, Mr. Lim also served on the TPA Advisory Board of Express Scripts.
Judith Reed, CEBS, Vice President
Ms. Reed has been with MCS for over 14 years. As an account manager, her responsibilities include: management of overall client service, preparation and presentation of renewal options, assisting clients with plan design and benefit changes, serving as a contact person with various vendors and conducting employee benefit meetings. She is also responsible for the sale and installation of new accounts.
As a Certified Employee Benefit Specialist through the International Foundation of Employer Benefits Plans and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, Ms. Reed is well versed in all aspects of employee benefits. She is a member of the Society of Professional Benefit Administrators and the New England Employee Benefits Council.
Brian A. Johnson, Vice President - IT, Acquisitions
Brian A. Johnson has been employed by MCS since 1996. Brian joined MCS as the Controller, overseeing the Accounting and Information Technology Departments. In 2005, Brian was promoted to Vice President, Information Technology. Before coming to MCS, Brian worked for 12 years in various accounting and information technology positions for Columbia Gas Transmission Corporation, a Charleston, WV based company.
Mr. Johnson holds a BA degree in Accounting/Computer Science from Marietta College, Marietta, Ohio. Brian obtained his CPA designation in 1990.
